Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 October 2026. These terms apply when you use Ghostpilot: the Mac app, the web dashboard at app.ghostpilotai.tech and the browser and editor extensions. By creating an account or using the apps, you agree to them.

What Ghostpilot is

Ghostpilot listens to calls you take part in, transcribes them and suggests answers. It also offers mock interviews, coaching, coding help and career tools. Suggestions are written by AI models and are meant to help you think, not to speak for you.

Your account

• You need to be at least 16 years old to use Ghostpilot.
• Keep your password and devices secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Give us an email address you can receive mail at; we use it for sign-in, password resets and important notices.

Your responsibilities

• Consent. Many places require everyone on a call to agree before it is recorded or transcribed. You must get any consent the law requires before using Ghostpilot on a call.
• Other people's rules. Employers, schools, exam bodies and assessment platforms may forbid assistance tools. You are responsible for following the rules of every interview, test or meeting you join.
• Lawful use. Don't use Ghostpilot to break the law, to impersonate someone, to harass people, or to record calls you are not part of.
• Fair use. Don't attack, overload, resell or reverse-engineer the service, or get around usage limits.

AI answers

AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and it may not reflect your real experience. Check what you say. You are responsible for how you use any suggestion, code or document Ghostpilot produces.

Your content

Your CV, documents, transcripts and other content stay yours. You let us process them only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete them, or your whole account, at any time.

Plans and payments

• The free plan includes 2 live sessions (up to 30 minutes each) and 3 mock interviews a month, plus 1 hour of cloud transcription. Prep tools have a daily fair-use limit that resets at midnight UTC.
• The Interview Pass gives Pro features for 7 days from purchase. It is a one-time payment and does not renew.
• Session credits are one-time purchases. One credit covers one live session of up to 60 minutes or one mock interview. Credits don't expire.
• Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment provider (Stripe) and renews until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
• "Unlimited" sessions are subject to fair use: cloud transcription has the monthly hours shown on the pricing page, and on-device transcription keeps working after them.
• Prices include VAT. We may change prices with notice before your next billing period; subscribers keep their price until then.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy: anything unused can be refunded within 14 days.

Availability and screen sharing

We work to keep Ghostpilot available but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Hiding the overlay from screen sharing is best effort: it depends on your macOS version and the app capturing the screen, and an update can change it. Use the built-in stealth test before an important call.

Ending your use

You can stop using Ghostpilot and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Liability

Ghostpilot is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a lost job opportunity or a failed assessment, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Ghostpilot afterwards means you accept the new terms.
